President - Responsibilities

  • Monthly Meeting agenda and business meeting facilitator
  • Facilitator of monthly board meeting
  • Attendance of monthly chapter meetings
  • Mentoring of Pres-elect and all other officers
  • Conference leader

President-Elect - Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Attendance at each monthly chapter meeting
  • Attendance at each monthly board meeting
  • Preparation for assuming the president role, assume president's duties
    when president is unable to do so.
  • Key committee member and participation in annual conference
  • Officer recruitment for the next year

Secretary - Responsibilities

  • Attendance at each monthly chapter meeting
  • Attendance at monthly board meetings
  • Maintenance and record keeping of monthly meeting minutes
  • Development of monthly flier to each member and distribute by either mail or email.
  • Holder of a Mail box key
  • Participate in annual conference

Treasurer - Responsibilities

  • Attendance at each monthly chapter meeting
  • Attendance at each monthly board meeting
  • Maintenance and record keeping of all financial records and transactions.
  • Quarterly financial report to board for review
  • Recruitment of annual audit committee
  • Application and filing of annual tax information
  • Participate in annual conference

Membership Chair & Committee - Responsibilities

  • Attendance at monthly meetings
  • Attendance at monthly board meeting
  • Membership table at all meeting for soliciting new members - collection of dues
    and applications completed
  • Maintenance and record keeping of attendance (sign in) of each monthly meeting
  • Mail box key holder- check minimum of 2 x monthly
  • Leader for membership drive in the fall
  • Membership cards to all members
  • Data base developed and maintained for all membership
  • Membership directory maintenance
  • Participate in annual conference

Program Chair & Committee - Responsibilities

  • Arrangements for monthly speakers - AV, topics
  • Attendance at monthly meetings
  • Collaborate with Publicity and secretary for advertisement fliers
  • CEU requirements completed and distribute to attendees
  • Participate in annual conference



Publicity Chair & Committee - Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Program chair and secretary
  • Develop a fax mailing list of members and potential members
    (ie- hospitals ICM, home health agencies, etc)
  • Notice of meeting to any community calendar, newspaper, or other publications
  • Attendance at monthly meetings
  • Development of vendor and participant mailing lists for conference
  • Development and mantainance of web page


Hospitality Chair & Committee - Responsibilities

  • Procurement of monthly meeting locations - verification call 2-5 days prior to meeting.
  • Procurement and verification of sponsors for monthly meeting - verification letter to be mailed.
  • Attendance at monthly meetings as a greeter.
  • Assistance with the sponsor for food at monthly meetings.
